Styx 2026 World Tour

With the release of their 18th studio album, Circling From Above, Styx are once again hitting the road for a massive world tour. This year is also the 50th anniversary of Tommy Shaw joining the lineup and will feature tracks from their  "prog-rock" Grand Illusion era. And before taking on the USA, the band will do a brief stint over winter, hitting London, Paris, and Berlin.

Hard-rocking, Chicago-born arena band Styx was first formed way back in 1972 on the South Side by the Panozzo brothers and Dennis DeYoung. They were the first band in history to have four consecutive triple-platinum albums with The Grand Illusion, Pieces of Eight, Cornerstone, and Paradise Theater.
 
In a list of their most popular tracks, you have to include the song played at every single Pittsburgh Steelers home game, "Renegade," which sets the field for the 4th quarter and fires up the defense. "Mr. Roboto" is set in a dystopian future where rock music was banned. And of course the insane cover by Eric Cartman of South Park, "Come Sail Away."

Choctaw Grand Theater (Durant, OK)

With a capacity of 3,000, the Choctaw Grand Theater is located approximately 80 miles north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It is part of the 100,000-square-foot multi-purpose convention and entertainment facility and the Choctaw Casino & Resort a AAA Four Diamond destination. There are over 20 restaurants within the resort complex, along with 7,400 slot machines and 100+ table games in the casino, as well as a bowling alley, arcade, cinema, and a 3-acre pool area with private cabanas and a swim-up bar.
