Gosh, Another Rainy Night where all we can do is be huddled inside the theater, waiting for the best acts to come out and play their favorite tunes for us in a crowd that will include thousands of other fans and music goers alike. And yeah, maybe we’ll have to Walk In The Shadows as we get from our car to the inside of the Choctaw and take shelter from the rain, but all the Roads To Madness lead to something amazing - especially when it’s Queensryche taking the stage that night!

It’s NOT just another rainy night! Because we all have each other - and we’ll all be right here at The Choctaw Casino and Grand Theater on Friday the 15th of August when the Queensryche crew takes the stage. Apart of their 2025 The Origins Tour Part II - which takes the boys on the road to celebrate their 1983 self titled EP, and their debut album The Warning - the tour will see the guys playing both albums in their entirety, and have Ace Frehley as opening support as well. The tour will see the crews hit an outstanding fifty shows across the world. With notable places like Dania Beach in Florida, Sao Paulo’s Allianz Parque in Brazil, The Sunset Station in Nevada, Berlin’s Metropol, Magazzini Generali in Milan, Le Trianon in Paris, Electric Brixton in London, The Hard Rock Hotel Tulsa, and of course - us down here at The Choctaw in the middle of August for all of our viewing and listening pleasure.
Formed in the 80s and founded in Washington, the band is legendary and some of the pioneers of progressive metal that was able to reach the mainstream in a deep way - creating sixteen albums throughout their forty year career, and selling over twenty million albums over the band’s lifespan - many of those albums being sold overseas. Considered one of “the big three” of metal, the opera-esque vocals of the band saw them reach commercial success right from the get go. Their first album, The Warning, received massive acclaim and adoption from the metal community right from the get go. And by their fourth album, 1990s Empire, they reached the mainstream in a big way - going triple platinum with the album, and peaking number 7 on the Billboard 200. And they have also toured with legendary acts up and down the 20th century Rock and Roll charts - including Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Def Leppard, and now Ace Frehley, the rocker from the 60s who has countless albums and also performed with the legends KISS.
