Through songs of heartache and longing, Marlowe is down to lead you on with charming country bangers.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Kameron started an interest in music thanks to his grandfather's influence. Going hunting and fishing together, the listened to country radio. At the age of 10, he started singing in church and even became a worship leader later on. Joining a band in high school, his childhood pretty much revolved around a deep love for music and performing. In 2017, his mom was diagnosed with a serious injury and had to quit working, so the man dropped out of college and juggled working as a salesman and playing local gigs.
Through it all, music kept hum grounded, and he later received a call from a talent recruiter who stumbled upon YouTube clips of his live gigs. Offered to fast track to The Voice's live auditions, he joined Team Blake before he was 'stolen' by Adam Levine. Reachinh the Top 24 Playoffs, his appearance on the competition further cemented his dreams of pursuing a career in music.
Independently releasing his debut track "Giving You Up" in 2019, he organically amassed over 15 million streams, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing took notice. In June 2020, he signed a record deal with Columbia Nashville, and thus began his full-on journey in music. Three studio albums in, his dedication and heart of emotionally-crushing anthems shine through.
His newest release "Sad Songs for the Soul" is a special case... one that's packed with sad anthems from start to finish. "They’d kind of been sitting in my music vault for a while", the told Billboard, "I’d want to put ‘em on the projects, but I didn’t want to have too many sad songs on a project. So, I was like, ‘It’d be cool to just have one project where I can put them all together.’"
Thus, here we have a record that echoes the raw feels of heartbreak. On stage, these tracks powerfully tear through the crowd's emotions, getting everyone immersed in his raw feelings.
