Choctaw Casino and Resort is known for a few things - it’s awesome slots, it’s amazing pools and vibes, and the eclectic line up of artists and performers who take the stage every night right here at The Grand Theatre. Located on the edge of the city and between Dallas and OKC, our Durant local music theatre brings world class acts to the stage every night for great shows and even better vibes, and we made sure to keep our record 100% when we invited Joe Bonammasa to the stage. He’s on an absolutely dominating run this year as he takes on seasonal tours across the globe - and brings us his 2025 U.S. Fall Tour this November on Friday the 14th right here in Durant. But this cat is international y’all - he also made some stops in Rome, Poland, and Austria this summer. He was over in the UK and Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena back in April, L.A.’s Greek Theatre in August, Kansas City this November, The Hard Rock Live in Hollywood Florida coming up this December, and of course - right here at The Choctaw this November 14th.
Joe Bonammasa is a blues rock living legend - up there with the greats like John Mayall and Stevie Ray Vaughan. His career started in his home state of New York at the young age of twelve when he opened up for B.B. King (!!!), and he quickly rose the ranks as one of the all time greats way before he could buy himself a drink at the bar or even drive a car. Known for his emotional and super realisctic yrics, his guitar is the gold star that makes him one of the most sought after performers in the world. There’s a debate on whether he’s a better singer or better guitar player - but we don’t care much to be honest. We just care about his life changing performances, and about all of us being there in the crowd when he takes the stage. And with 11 Billboard number 1 albums on the Blues charts over his career - we know he’s going to bring out all his hits when he takes the stage this November.
