One of the best-selling bands of all time, Foreigner boosted the golden age of the rock scene back in the 70s. They put out nine albums that transcend generations with their popularity and influence. It is no secret that their songs are always great and sometimes considered revolutionary. After more than 40 years of capturing rock listeners' hearts and dominating airwaves and charts, the band has decided that they have reached the end of their career. There is sadness in witnessing a legendary band go, but they will not end without a tribute for their years and years of musical excellence.

Mick Jones, alongside current members Jeff Pilson, Kelly Hansen, Michael Bluestein, Chris Frazier, Bruce Watson, and Luis Maldonado, decided to headline a farewell tour in 2023. It began in July and ended in September. The members were prepared to give their best one last time for this tour.

"Many years ago, I wrote a song called 'Feels Like The First Time' and today we are launching one last worldwide tour. We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances," says Mick Jones in an interview.

This tour was well-received by fans. They sold out all the venues they visited. Fans flocked to these concerts to support and celebrate their long career. It was historic and outright brought back the feelings people experienced during their early years.

Their goodbyes do not have to be Urgent, as they extend their tour this year, reaching more places than before. The tour dates begin on June 11 at the Van Andel Arena. It will wrap on August 28 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

Co-headlining with the band is a band who rose with them to legendary presence - Styx. The progressive rock band also had their great moments with their 17 albums. No one will ever forget "The Grand Illusion," which is their best classic.

Listen to "I Want To Know What Love Is," "Juke Box Hero," "Feels Like The First Time," "Long, Long Way From Homel," "Urgent," and many more from the originators for the last time. Buy tickets now for the Choctaw Grand Theater concert on October 12.
