Five Finger Death Punch isn't your grandmother's band - obviously, with its name. This heavy metal quintet, named after a clever and lethal martial arts move in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, was founded in Las Vegas in 2005 and has been moving up the metal ladder ever since. Five Finger Death Punch is known for its fierce live presence and skillful fusion of thrash, alt-rock, and classic metal elements. The band is fronted by vocalist Ivan Moody.

With support from Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has announced a headline U.S. tour for this summer. The voyage will begin on August 2 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and end in Houston, Texas, on September 19.
Before performances in Rogers, Arkansas, and Nashville, there are three Midwest gigs in Detroit, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. On August 16, the bands will be back in action in the Midwest, starting in Noblesville, Indiana, and continuing on to Des Moines and Omaha.
August 22 is a Denver show before the bands travel to Canada for two performances in Saskatoon and Vancouver. 5FDP will tour the West Coast, stopping in Portland, the Bay Area, San Diego, and Los Angeles after doing a concert in the Spokane, Washington, area.
Five Finger Death Punch returns to Las Vegas on September 8 for a performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Phoenix and Albuquerque are two more Southwest shows.
The bands will play in Durant, Oklahoma on September 13 before traveling to Atlanta and Biloxi, Mississippi, which are in the Southeast. After that, 5FDP and crew will return to Texas for a performance in Austin. The tour comes to an end at Houston's Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on September 19.
Before touring the United States, Five Finger Death Punchwill travel Europe in the spring to play stadium dates with Metallica on the latter band's "M72" world tour. They will also headline performances with Ice Nine Kills as special guests and make a few festival appearances.
