ERNEST: LIVE FROM THE SOUTH TOUR

While he didn’t release his first studio album until 2019, Ernest has been in the industry for quite some time before that. Ernest first became interested in music when he discovered hip-hop through Space Jam and Eminem, but when the time came for him to make some music of his own, he leaned more toward the country sensibilities that surrounded him in his hometown of Nashville. 

Although he’s always had dreams of becoming a famous singer under his own name, when the time came for Ernest to begin pursuing this, he opted to instead remain in the background as a songwriter for other musicians. During his time behind the scenes, he made a name for himself writing songs for the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, and Jelly Roll. 

Alongside his many songwriting credits attributed to other artists, Ernest slowly began developing a music catalogue of his own. But it wasn’t until the release of his 2022 single, “Flower Shops” featuring the world class country guy Morgan Wallen, that Ernest really started climbing the ranks. Since then, he’s released two more studio albums, toured the world, and charted on both the country and mainstream hits charts. 

And now, Ernest is taking his superstardom to a whole nother level. In 2025, he announced he would be heading out on tour in early 2026 as part of the promotion for his third studio album, Nashville, Tennessee. The album was released early last year, and with hits like “Cowgirls” and “Would If I Could,” supporting its debut, it became an instant hit amongst fans. 

This spring, those very fans will get the chance to support Ernest on what might just be his biggest tour yet. The singer songwriter will be headed off to over two dozen cities in the new year, including a show in Durant, Oklahoma at the Choctaw Casino and Resort on March 19th 2026. Don’t miss it!!
