Up for a legendary night of great music? Well one of the greatest singers of all time in Rolling Stone's list, one of the most successful artists or the 2000s in Billboard's records, and one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world is coming to Durant, Oklahoma for a special night of song. Booked at the Choctaw Grand Theater, it's gonna be a beautiful showcase of hits from the queen herself - you can expect all the hits, your favorites, and a couple of surprirses in the mix. The Queen's Rise

Born in December 1980 in Ocean Breeze, New York, Aguilera frequenly moved growing up due to her father's military service. Growing up in a pretty unstable environment, the singer shared that music was her "only real escape". When she moved gto her grandmother's home, she started exploring their collection of records, and began to practice singing in public while joining contests. She soon became known as the "little girl with a big voice", and started catching the attention of local TV and radio stations. 

Making it to The All New Muckjey Mouse Club with fellow cast members Britney Spears, Justin Timberlakme Ryan Gosling, and more stars, her career in showbusiness started taking off. Hoping to score a record deal, she sent out several demo tapes to labels, and was eventually chosen to record "Reflection" from the 1998 film Mulan. Receiving critical acclaim for her peformance, A&R executive Ron Fair of RCA Records quickly reached out and signed Aguilera. In 1998, she began recording hher debut album, and it's been said that producers invested about over a million dollars worth of writers and producers for the project. That's how big Christina's rise was. People definitely believed that she could reign as one of the industry's next biggest queens.

Once "Genie in a Bottle" came out, the track topped the  Billboard Hot 100, and the album hit #1 on the US Billboard 200. Certified 8x Platinum by the RIAA and selling over 17 million records, she also won a Grammy Award for "Best New Artist". 

And that's how it all began. Today, she stands as one of the most influential figures in the industry, becoming an inspiration to many young artists, and an important mentor for hopefuls who want to make it big in the industry, encouraging them to live out their truest selves in music.
