Wetmore’s career in music began after an injury made him let go of playing football. With a heart for music since he was a kid, teaching himself how to play the piano at 11, the man took time to write songs in 2020. The year after, he released a couple of promotional singles, including “Kiss My A$$,” “She's Trouble,” and “Another Shot.” Signing with Back Blocks Music and a partnership agreement with UMG Nashville, he remained steadfast in putting out country bangers that hit hard. “Wine into Whiskey” became his first track to hit the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts. 

Releasing his debut album “What Not To” on April 25, 2025, he further proved his capabilities as an artist. “Both the craftsman and his project are open and honest about the fact that they’re still finding themselves,” Country Central wrote in a review about the record. "If he made it this far, he can surely find the rest along the way.”
