AL GREEN is taking the stage here at the Choctaw Grand Theater on Saturday July 12th. And this is his ONLY performance in the south this summer - other than a show in Chicago earlier this summer, we get Al all to ourselves! What a treat - what a show! So you just HAVE to be there when he comes through. 

Al Green is in that elite class of artists who rarely needs an introduction and is known on every stage he chooses to be on in any given place on this planet. From Arkansas, the singer and songwriter has won numerous awards and accolades across all the major institutions over his decades long career. Most notably winning twenty one GRAMMYs, and recently being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Green is ranked sixty five on Rolling Stone’s Greatest Artists of All Time list, and he is generally considered one of the best when it comes to the progression and championing of Memphis Soul. He has worked with some of the most recognizable names in the industry - including Patti LaBelle, Queen Latifah, Buck Owens, Willie Nelson, and many many others throughout his deep discography. Al Green is a soul man - and a performer who has mastered the emotional complexion that is humanity. He has permeated the industry in many different ways, and his legacy is forever strong even as he still delivers to fans with live shows to this day.
