Earth, Wind and Fire are among the most groundbreaking bands to come out of the ‘70s. The funk, soul, dance, and R&B outfit dominated the airwaves with their hits, “September,” “Let’s Groove,” “Boogie Wonderland,” and “After the Love Has Gone.” The band has released 21 highly-regarded studio albums and promoted 62 singles. Earth, Wind Fire has sold over 90 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time. Until this day, their music is still played all over the world and has amassed billions of views and streams online.
Aside from chart-topping success, Earth, Wind has earned numerous accolades, including seven Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, a BET Award, an NAACP Award, and a Soul Train Music Award. The band was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, in which Earth, Wind and Fire were acknowledged for “taking jazz, soul, gospel, pop and more and wrapped them in one psychedelic, mystical package.
